Magnetic Filter Installation
Catches sludge before it reaches the boiler
Central heating water carries tiny metallic particles that, over time, form the sludge that clogs radiators and wears out pumps and heat exchangers. A magnetic filter — such as an Adey MagnaClean — sits on the pipework and pulls those particles out of circulation.
It's a simple, high-value bit of protection: it keeps the system cleaner for longer, protects the boiler, and makes the next service quicker. We include one free with every new boiler, and fit them to existing systems on their own.
Protection that pays for itself
By capturing metallic sludge before it reaches the boiler and pump, a magnetic filter helps prevent the breakdowns and cold spots that a dirty system causes. It's cheap protection for an expensive appliance — which is why it's standard on our installations.
Free with every new boiler
Every new boiler we install includes a magnetic filter alongside the free power flush — so your new boiler starts clean and stays protected. On its own, fitting a filter to an existing system is a quick, worthwhile job.
